Stepan Talalayev is the founder and lead engineer of DigiTale.
Why it exists
It started from a plain frustration: paying for enterprise accounting software just to send five invoices a month.
So DigiTale Invoice is intentionally small. It does one job: an invoice your client can pay by scanning a QR code, without you having to create an account first.
What it does
- Creates invoices in English or Czech and downloads them as PDF files.
- Adds a payment QR code: QR Platba for Czech bank payments, and the EPC (SEPA) QR code for payments in euros.
- Covers the Czech invoice details: IČO, DIČ, the date of taxable supply (DUZP), VAT by rate, or a note that you're not a VAT payer.
- Works without an account. A free account adds saved clients, invoice history with payment status, sending invoices by email, and several businesses under one sign-in.
What it doesn't do
DigiTale Invoice isn't accounting software: it doesn't keep books, file tax returns or connect to your bank.
It doesn't support reverse-charge invoices, VAT amounts in Czech crowns on invoices in another currency, simplified tax documents, advance invoices or credit notes. The terms of service explain what that means for you.
