Terms of service

These terms apply to everyone who uses DigiTale Invoice, with or without an account.

Last updated:

Who provides the service

DigiTale Invoice is provided by DigiTale s.r.o. (“we”), IČO 17276632, registered in the commercial register (Městský soud v Praze, oddíl C, vložka 369310).

You can reach us at talalayev@outlook.com.

The service and its price

DigiTale Invoice lets you create invoices in your browser and download them as PDF files with a payment QR code. An optional account adds saved clients, invoice history and the other features listed on the pricing page.

The service is free of charge. Using it creates no obligation to pay.

Your invoices are your responsibility

You are responsible for everything you enter on an invoice and for every invoice you issue: the parties, the amounts, VAT rates, dates, numbering and payment details. Check each invoice before you send it.

The service calculates totals and builds the QR code from the data you enter. It doesn't check whether that data is true, or whether the invoice meets the requirements of your situation.

No guarantee of tax compliance

DigiTale Invoice helps you fill in the usual details of a Czech invoice, but we don't guarantee that an invoice meets the tax and accounting rules that apply to you. In particular, the service doesn't support:

  • reverse-charge invoices (přenesení daňové povinnosti);
  • VAT amounts shown in Czech crowns on invoices issued in another currency;
  • simplified tax documents (zjednodušený daňový doklad);
  • advance invoices (zálohová faktura) and credit notes (opravný daňový doklad).

If you're not sure what your invoice must contain, ask a tax adviser. Keeping your invoices for as long as the law requires is your responsibility, so download and keep your own copies.

Accounts

Give true details when you create an account, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

The owner of a business in the account can invite other people to it. Everyone who accepts an invitation can see and work with that business's clients and invoices.

By creating an account you agree to these terms. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to:

  • issue false or misleading invoices, commit fraud or pursue any other unlawful purpose;
  • enter other people's personal data without a legal reason to do so;
  • attack, overload or probe the service, or get around its limits and security;
  • access accounts or data that aren't yours.

Availability and liability

We provide the service as it is and work to keep it running, but we don't promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove features.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for damage caused by incorrect data on an invoice, by the service being unavailable, or by the loss of data stored in it. Keep your own copies of the invoices you issue.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights that mandatory law gives you, in particular as a consumer.

Ending the use of the service

You can stop using the service at any time. To have your account and its data deleted, write to talalayev@outlook.com.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We publish every change on this page with a new date. If you don't agree with a change, stop using the service and ask us to delete your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code. Disputes are decided by the competent Czech courts, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
